About project

The project EEIC develops a sense of European identity, based on common values, history an culutre with a net and cooperation between different types of public organizations, archives, independent researchers and regional partnerships, enhances the tolerance and mutual understanding between European citizens respecting and promoting cultural and linguistic diversity, while contributing to intercultural dialogue by EU and international exhibition and event at 20th unniversary of DIS, brings Europe closer to its citizens by promoting Europe's values and achivements, while preserving the memory of its past by 4 organized tours of remembrance in Slovenij, respond to the challenges of migration by producing the expert publication on EU exile and displaced 19201945 and by that impact the EU policies and societies, promotes European Values - tolerance, mutual uderstanding and solidarity, cultural and linguistic diversity by including EU and non-Eu partners (11 altogether) and associates in the project, fosters a transnational approach with a local dimension (able to reach European citizens in their everyday lives) by opening of EEIC and the information strategy of EEIC, giving the possibility of cooperating and research for target publics, contributes to informal learning for active European citizenship by developing and running of EU programme for primary and secondary school teacher of history, fosters cross-fertilisation (synergies an wider multiplier effect) involving different types of organizations by connecting archives, museums, NGOs, independent researchers and teachers. Multiplying effect of the project will be seen in cooperation between victims, their families, expert and public insitutions when producing new contents of EEIC. The project is designed as a programme equally accessible to all including legal residants without any form of discrimination on grounds of sex, racial or ethnic origin, religiona or belief, disability, age and sexual orientation. Equal opportunities for all, with a particular attention on eyuality between medn and women and on senior citizens, who represent the majority of target public will be realized by ways of informing about the project and of choosing the staff of the project to carry out the tasks. By fitting the objectives with conceptual and result oriented manner the project tends to reveal, promote and form the call of non-violent actions and active participation of EU citizen(s) in defining new EU guidelines of social position of victims of Nazi and Fascist violence.
